Why study sanskrit ?

The word sanskrit means 'well done ' or 'refined'. Sanskrit is glorified as 'Devabhasha- God's own language'. It is the most ancient of the living languages and is the mother of most of the eastern and western languages. Sanskrit opens the window to all thatn is india- Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Geeta and so on. Rich in vocabulary, it is very easy to learn, owing to it's logical structure.
