The primary aim of the Bhagavad Gita Course is to make life glorious by following the ‘Gita-way’ accessible to anyone who yearns for it. The Bhagavad Gita Course is authored by Pujya Swami Tejomayananda. Pujya Swamiji is a master of Indian spiritual literature. He is a renowned teacher of Vedanta and an author of many commentaries as well as independent texts on Vedanta and Bhakti literature. This course indeed offers the crystallised, experiential wisdom and insightfulness of Swamiji, in a style characterised by clarity, depth, and profundity couched in the comforting style of simplicity, compassion, and accessibility. It bears the same mark of understated elegance and excellence of which Pujya Swamiji is a living embodiment.

Course Eligibility

Mahatma Gandhi said: “The Gita is the universal mother. She turns away nobody. Her door is wide open to anyone who knocks.” This encapsulates precisely the universal nature of the eligibility criteria for this course. CIF welcomes anyone who wishes to bring about a qualitative improvement in their way of life to take up this course. Though Sanskrit verses are provided for further reference, knowledge of Sanskrit is not required, as the medium of instruction is English.

Course Details

  • The duration of the Bhagavad Gita Course Postal is 15 months.
  • The course comprises of 30 lessons (@ 2 lessons per month) and a total of 30 questionnaires.
  • After your enrollment, you will be receiving 6 lessons and 6 questionnaires by courier / post.
  • You have to send your answers for one questionnaire within 15 days from the date of receipt of lessons.
  • After your answers are checked by the Course Tutor, the same will be returned to you for your observation along with the next set of 6 lessons. A score will also be assigned to your answers.
  • Those who successfully complete the course will be given a ‘Course Completion Certificate’ of merit signed by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission worldwide. The digital copy of the same will be sent to your registered email ID.
  • Grading system for certification.
    • 80% and above 'O' Grade
    • 60% and above 'A+' Grade
    • 50% and above 'A' Grade
    • Below 50% 'B' Grade
