The Bhagavad Gita, the Lord’s song, is a dialogue between Lord Sri Krishna and Pandava Prince Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
The Lord narrates positive, noble qualities in the tenth chapter ‘Vibhuti Yoga’ and how to perceive divinity through these. Lord’s power is shown through His manifold manifestations, so also, His transcendental nature and His immanence. In this chapter, Arjuna wants to know how one can constantly keep in touch with the Eternal aspect of Truth, even while perceiving the pluralistic world and transacting with its objects. As an answer to this particular question the chapter is packed with indications of the joyous Infinite among the joyless finite objects. After narrating a number of vibhutis, the Lord also gives a general guideline to recognise vibhuti, thus inspiring Arjuna to go beyond all individual likes and dislikes and to see the Lord in and through all.
