The Bhagavad Gita, the Lord’s song, is a dialogue between Lord Sri Krishna and Pandava Prince Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
The sixth chapter ‘Atmasanyama Yoga or Dhyana Yoga’, offers guidance to seekers on cultivating, directing and applying the inner forces of thoughts and feelings to the highest possibilities in life through meditation. The Lord gives a clear description on the technique and the method of meditation and the art of mastery over the mind, which is the equipment to the ultimate unfoldment. Being the apt student, Arjuna voices his doubts, which are lovingly answered by the Lord, urging him to follow the path with utmost faith.
