Ishavasya Upanishad is one of the 10 Upanishads which is considered as important as the Dashopanishad. The Sanskrit term ‘Ishavasyam’ literally translates to ‘enveloped by the Lord’ and refers to the all-pervasive Brahman. The Upanishad consists of eighteen mantras, which expound the highest goal of Vedanta, the simplest method of attaining enlightenment and ultimately the ways of reaching the path of Liberation.
