The Bhagavad Gita, the Lord’s song, is a dialogue between Lord Sri Krishna and Pandava Prince Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
Hearing about the Lord’s divine power, Arjuna wishes to see the original form of the Lord in the eleventh chapter, ‘Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga’. The Lord shows Arjuna a vision wherein he sees in the Krishna-form the entire Universe compressed and packed. Having seen the form, Arjuna gets completely converted both in his faith and in his understanding. There is only divine Will which encompasses the will of all beings who are mere instruments serving His biddings and accomplishing His plans. Arjuna finds both the armies arrayed in battle formations, along with their warriors and chiefs, have all been already destroyed by the Lord’s will; he finding himself just an instrument of the Lord surrenders to Him in dauntless devotion.
