Advanced Level National Workshop on Manuscriptology and Palaeography

Advanced Level National Workshop on Manuscriptology and Palaeography dealt with the teaching of scripts (Grantha, Sharada and Nandinagari), history of writing traditions, transcription, collation and preparation of a critical edition of texts and editing, adopting methods for conservation (practical) and preservation (digitisation) of manuscripts. Two texts of different areas were critically edited by the participants under the guidance of senior faculty/resource persons.

These lectures were recorded during the workshop organised by Chinmaya International Foundation Shodha Sansthan in collaboration with the National Mission for Manuscripts, IGNCA, New Delhi, held at Adi Sankara Nilayam from 13th November to 12th December, 2018.
