Registration to Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) website (https://chinfo.org/) and its related services.

You may access some areas of the CIF website without registering your details. However, certain areas of the website can be accessed only if you register.

1. Registration

By registering on the CIF website and creating/editing your “CHINFO.ORG Profile”, you agree that:

  • You will keep your username and password safe, and you won’t share them with anyone.
  • You will not pass yourself off as someone else or create multiple, false accounts.
  • You will provide correct and accurate information to the best of your knowledge and belief.

2. Term

  • If you breach any of our terms and conditions given in section-1 (above), we reserve the right to terminate your account. If we do so, we may close all the accounts you have opened in your name (or assumed names).
  • To reactivate/deactivate your account, you will have to contact our Website Admin department whose details can be found under “Contact us” on the Home Page.

3. Administration

You can update your personal details by accessing your account at the Edit Profile page for making any necessary changes  –  this will update your details across all services that you have subscribed to.

4. How we may use your information

We might use your information to:

  • Remember you when you visit our website and track your browsing patterns by using cookies. You can prevent this if you wish so – section 5 deals with this in more detail;
  • Place your anonymised information into audience segments to identify your interests so that we might serve you with offers that will interest you;
  • Ensure any products or services you receive are correctly administered (including subscriptions);
  • Contact you by email, mail, telephone or SMS/WhatsApp text messages to let you know about any of our products, services or promotions;
  • Ensure materials on the website or in apps are presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer or mobile device;
  • Collate and log numeric internet addresses to improve the website and to monitor website usage;
  • Assess and understand customer feedback and identify usage hotspots;
  • Keep you updated on your subscribed services unless you have told us not to do otherwise.

Any information that you send is at your own risk and may be read by others. However, once we have received your personal information, we use strict procedures to protect the security of your personal information.

7. Changes to this Policy

If we change our Policy, we will post the changes on ourwebsite. Please check the website regularly for any changes to this Policy. A copy of the Terms and Conditions is also found in the footer link of our Home Page.

In case of any changes to this policy, you agree that you will re-sign the terms and conditions to enable further access. Access to existing services may not be available till the new terms and conditions are agreed upon.

8. Refund

There will be no refund offered towards Payment for any of our services. However, in the case of Course refund you can buy any other product from our website in lieu of change. The same can be done no later than one month from the time of purchase of the original service.

Any service availed through donation like Camps and Events is non-refundable.

9. Copyright

All the lessons, video, audio content that is paid is for your usage only. You agree not to share them with any other person by any electronic form or copying.

10. Accessibility of Lessons for Courses

All lessons and videos are available for lifetime, but can be subject to change in the future. Hence all the registrants are requested to finish the course or any other service they subscribed for within the suggested time limits.
