About the Shiv Mahimna Stotram
Composed by the Gandharva Pushpadanta, the Shiv Mahimna Stotram is among the most celebrated hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva. Every verse is an offering of devotion, humility, and reverence, revealing the boundless glory of Mahadeva while gently guiding the seeker towards inner purity, contemplation, and Self-knowledge.
Swami Advaitananda Saraswati
Swami Advaitananda Saraswati is a senior Acharya of Chinmaya Mission and currently serves at Chinmaya Mission, Nashik.
Born in Madhya Pradesh, he studied Mechanical Engineering before answering the call of spirituality. Inspired by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, he undertook a systematic study of Vedanta and dedicated his life to teaching the scriptures.
Over the years, Swamiji has served several Chinmaya Mission centres in India and abroad, conducting scriptural camps and spiritual retreats in Hindi, Marathi, and English. His lucid, practical, and inspiring teaching style enables seekers to understand and apply the timeless wisdom of Vedanta in everyday life.
