Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9
The Bhagavad Gita, the Lord’s song, is a dialogue between Lord Sri Krishna and Pandava Prince Arjuna on
The ninth chapter, ‘Rajavidya Rajaguhya Yoga’ narrates the most profound knowledge alongwith the way to its Realisation. The Self-Knowledge that is declared in this chapter is verily the ‘supreme knowledge’ and the ‘supreme secret.’ With a few most confounding stanzas, the relationship of the one Reality with the diversity i.e. substratum-superimposition relationship is brought forth. Consistency in devotion, single pointedness, purity of mind, love for all after truly understanding the nature of the Self, are stressed upon. Transformative nature of all these practices and gaining the Self, which is the ultimate result of the consistent practice, has been narrated.
This album contains discourses by Swami Advayananda, recorded in July 2022, during the Vedanta Sadhaka Course held in Adi Sankara Nilayam.
