The Upanishads, the Brahmasutra and the Bhagavad Gita are the three fundamental texts of Vedanta, collectively known as the Prasthanatraya. The Brahmasutra, authored by Sri Veda Vyasa, elucidates the principles of Advaita Vedanta by synthesizing key concepts from the Upanishads. The detailed commentary by Sri Sankaracharya is invaluable for understanding this text. A clear grasp of the essential concepts of Vedanta can be achieved by studying the first four sutras, known as the Chatuhsutri.
This album contains discourses by Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati (in Malayalam) recorded during the residential Vedanta Course in Malayalam held at Adi Sankara Nilayam in 2018-20.
