The Kenopanishad is a profound Vedantic text that leads the seeker from the known to the Unknown through the clear path of enquiry. The word Kena means “by whom.” The Upanishad begins with a student’s question to the Guru:
“By whom is the mind directed? Who makes life function? What power moves the senses and organs?”
The teacher’s response unfolds the essence of Consciousness. He asserts:
“He who thinks he knows It, knows It not. He who thinks he knows not, truly knows.”
An illustrative anecdote shared by the teacher brings deeper clarity to this subtle Truth.
Studying the text along with Adi Shankaracharya’s commentary (Shankara Bhashya) brings depth and completeness to the learning.
This album features discourses by Br. Ved Chaitanya, recorded during the online Kenopanishad camp conducted in August–September 2021, as part of the ongoing Upanishad Series.
