Laghu Vakya Vritti

Laghu-vakya-vritti is a short composition of 18 verses by Sri Adi Sankaracharya. The text expounds on the meaning

and implication of the famous mahavakya 'Aham brahmasmi', which declares the unity of the individual Self and the supreme Brahman. This treatise very beautifully explains the contemplation required to actualise the knowledge enshrined in the mahavakya.
