About the Camp
The In-Depth Study of Lalita Sahasranama is a three-day spiritual camp dedicated to the contemplative study and chanting of the Lalita Sahasranama, one of the most revered hymns of the Divine Mother from the Brahmanda Purana.
Comprising 100 sacred names of Sri Lalita Tripurasundari, the Lalita Sahasranama is a complete spiritual text of Sri Vidya, revealing the harmony of devotion, mantra, tantra, and non-dual wisdom. Each name reflects a profound truth, guiding the seeker toward inner clarity, peace, and spiritual liberation.
Teachings and Guidance
This camp offers an in-depth study of Lalita Sahasranama under the tutelage of Swami Sharadananda Saraswati, a respected teacher widely known for his teachings in Advaita Vedanta. The sessions reveal the deeper philosophical vision of the Sahasranama, showing how devotion to the Divine Mother naturally leads to non-dual understanding.
Participants will explore the dhyana verses, symbolic meanings of the names, and the spiritual principles of the Sri Chakra through guided chanting and reflection. No formal initiation is required. The camp is open to all sincere seekers.
Uthram Mahotsav Experience
Camp participants will also have the opportunity to take part in Uthram Mahotsav, the annual temple festival at the Chinmaya Swambhu Ayyappa Temple, CIF, allowing seekers to immerse themselves in sacred celebrations alongside inner spiritual study.
