Bhagavad Gita is a time-tested manual for self-mastery.

This course will help everyone study Bhagavad Gita in depth. There will be discourses to make us understand the intricacies of the subject, group discussion to reflect on the important topics, doubt clarification sessions to get clarity and meditation sessions to allow the knowledge to get assimilated. After each chapter, there will also be an online self-assessment questionnaire to check one’s comprehension of the essential teachings of the chapter. This is mandatory to proceed to the next chapter. Kindly note that only after submitting the self-assessment questionnaire, videos of the next chapter will become available to the students for their lifetime use.

This course is meant for ‘busy people’. It is well-spaced to give everyone sufficient time to learn and digest the supreme knowledge. You just have to take out 11 to 12 hours in every month according to your schedule to listen and study. That way you can complete the course within 20 months (18 months for 18 chapters and additional 1 month each for the 2nd and 18th chapters). It is twenty months of austerity and resolve to transform your life.

Swamini Sampratishthananda

In her childhood days, Swamini Sampratishthananda served Pujya Gurudev through her bhajans and Vedic chants during Jnana Yajnas and camps. As per Gurudev’s guidance, she chose to graduate in Economics and excelled with natural flair as an MBA gold medalist, ICWA and CA rank holder. She underwent Vedanta training from 2005 to 2007, under the tutelage of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda. She then continued serving the Chinmaya Mission Pondicherry Centre, where she was instrumental in establishing Chinmaya Surya ashram. During this tenure, she was known by the name Brni. Shruti Chaitanya. Her seva yatra then continued in the form of Acharya for the two year residential Tamil-English Vedanta Course conducted at Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore from 2017 to 2019. Currently, she is serving at Chinmaya Gardens as a Trustee and Chief Functionary of Chinmaya Garden Trust and is also the Chairman of the Chinmaya Vidyalayas in Coimbatore. Her unique forte is to render Vedantic values as practical life lessons through corporate workshops, camps for the children and youth, etc. She often says, ‘God-given abilities are to serve Him alone’, which she herself epitomises in every act. She is Gurudev’s child, Guruji’s brought up, a Chinmaya Product, a Vedanta teacher, who brightens the lives of everyone around her through the light of knowledge.

Course Curriculum

The sessions include Discourses, Doubt clarifications, Chanting and Guided Meditation sessions.

All these sessions are made available on the site for the participants to read, study and contemplate on at all times. Online sessions allow convenience and flexibility for those who are abroad as well as the working fraternity in India.

Envisioned to be a platform to impart knowledge, CIF has always made it a point to make the courses accessible to all the sincere seekers. Students, who are keen to pursue a particular course, but have difficulty affording the course fee, can send an email to the Director: homestudycourses@chinfo.org stating the same. They will be given financial assistance to enrol for the course based on the genuineness if request, keenness to study and eligibility.
