Srimad Bhagavatam is renowned as one of the greatest compositions of Sanskrit literature. Across the world, there is a love for Srimad Bhagavata Mahapurana. Besides the much loved narration of the avatars of Sri Vishnu, it conveys a wealth of cultural and philosophical knowledge making it equally popular from children to adults. Composed by Bhagavan Veda Vyasa, it is a monumental work of 18,000 verses.
How Bhagavan bestows blessings and grace is the subject matter of this Canto. The compassion of the Lord is shown through the various narrations expounded in this Chapter.
Through his lucid discourses on the text Swami Sharadananda emphasises on the power of the Bhagavata Purana in bestowing spiritual knowledge, purifying the soul to unite with the Divine, leading one towards Liberation.
