Vyakarana Mahabhashyam – Part 2

This work is the only available commentary on Patañjali’s Vyakaranamahabhashyam in Malayalam. This edition (Part II) consists of the Ahnikas VI-IX of Vyakarana Mahabhashya. The commentary, aptly titled ‘Punarnava’ by Prof. O. Vatsala, gives forth the freshness and revelation as opposed to the difficulties experienced in earlier readings owing to the complexity of ideas conveyed. It is true that Mahabhashyam is written in simple language but the complex terms, terminologies and matical principles expressed in it are enough to make the text incomprehensible many a times.

Prof. Vatsala’s Malayalam commentary is a certain guide to students who follow Malayalam language for not only studying mar but also the students of different branches of Sanskrit learning.
