Atman (Self) has no attributes. Atman is neither the doer (karta) nor the experiencer (bhokta). Bhokta and Karta are attributed to karma. Upanishads are a means of realizing that the atman transcends karmic bonds.
‘Ishavasya idam sarvam’ implies that god is not only the creator of the universe, but also in every individual.
