The Confluence of Jnana and Bhakti

In a world filled with noise, uncertainty and constant demands, the vision of Sri Krishna offers a profound foundation for clarity, resilience and purposeful living. Janmashtami is more than the celebration of a divine birth; it is an opportunity to discover the possibility of inner freedom through the harmony of Jnana – the clarity of wisdom – and Bhakti – the fullness of devotion.

Wisdom without love can become dry and disconnected, while emotion without wisdom can lead to confusion. When Jnana and Bhakti come together, they create a balanced foundation for living with strength, clarity and devotion.

Drawing insights from the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and Narada Bhakti Sutras, this four-part series goes beyond philosophical concepts to explore their relevance in contemporary life. Discover the symbolism of Sri Krishna’s birth, understand the descent of divine consciousness into human experience, and learn to bring wisdom, devotion and poise into everyday action.
