Maruti Stotra – Bhimrupi Maharudra, composed by Samarath Ramdas is a powerful devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Hanuman. This stotra glorifies immense strength, devotion and divine nature.
Verse 1
भीमरूपी महारुद्रा वज्रहनुमान मारुती ।
वनारी अंजनीसुता रामदूता प्रभंजना ॥ १ ॥
Bhimrupi Maharudra Vajrahanuman Maruti |
Vanari Anjanisuta Ramaduta Prabhanjana ||
Meaning: I bow to Maruti, who has a formidable form, a diamond-strong indestructible body,
and is an incarnation of Shiva. He is the son of Anjani, the messenger of Rama, and a fierce
destroyer of evil.

महाबळी प्राणदाता सकळां उठवी बळें ।
सौख्यकारी दुःखहारी दूतवैष्णव गायका ॥ २ ॥
Mahabali Pranadata Sakalan Uthavi Balen |
Saukhyakari Dukhahari Dutavaishnava Gayaka ||
Meaning: He is immensely powerful and the giver of life, awakening strength in all. He brings happiness, destroys sorrow, and is the great singer of Lord Rama’s glories.

Pataladevata-hanta Bhavya-sindura-lepana ||
Meaning: He is the protector of the helpless. He is a Vanar who has become Hari Swaroop with his supreme devotion. He is beautiful and omnipresent. He destroyed the demons of Patala and is adorned with sacred vermilion.

Punyavanta Punyashila Pavana Paritoshaka ||
Meaning: He is the Lord of people, of the worlds and of life itself. He is ancient-present in all times, virtuous, and the holy being who grants peace and satisfaction to all.

Kalagni Kalrudragni Dekhitan Kampati Bhaye ||
Meaning: Standing on the flag with arms raised and with fervor, he marches forward with such a fierce force that even the fire of destruction trembles in fear upon seeing him.

Meaning: When he clenches his teeth, it is as if the whole universe is contained in him. Flames of anger erupt from his eyes as he frowns with immense power.

Meaning: His tail is curled over his head; he wears a excellent crown and earrings. A golden belt holds his loincloth, and the bells at his waist ring out with a grand sound.

Meaning: He stands firm like a mountain, well-built yet lean. Looking at his agile body is like witnessing a massive flash of lightning.

Meaning: Taking leaps spanning vast distance, he jumped toward the North. With great strength and fervor, he uprooted Mount Dronagiri, which was as massive as Mount Mandara.

Meaning: He brought the mountain and took it back, coming and going as fast as a thought. He even surpassed the speed of the mind; his speed has no equal.

Meaning: He can expand from the size of an atom to the size of the entire universe. There is no comparison to his size (how can anybody be compared to him?); even the mighty Meru and Mandar mountains look tiny before him.

Meaning: He can wrap his strong tail around the entire universe. There is no one in the universe (Brahmand) who can be compared to him. (How to do comparison of anyone from the universe with Hanumanji? Or it is not possible to find anyone who can be compared with Hanumanji in the universe.

Meaning: With his red eyes, he looked at the sun and leaped to swallow it. As he grew bigger and bigger, he pierced through the very sky and space.

Meaning: By the sight of the Mighty One (Hanuman)
Meaning: All evil spirits, diseases, and ailments are destroyed; worries are broken, and one is filled with bliss by the mere sight of the mighty Hanuman.

Meaning: Hold these fifteen verses in your heart; they are beneficial and graceful. They grant a strong body and remove all doubts. They will lead to increase in the number of virtues like the phases of the moon.

Meaning: He is the foremost among the devotees of Rama and the ornament of the Vanara race. His soul is one with Rama; by his sight all sins are destroyed.
