Upanishad is the scriptures that guide you to realize or even take a tiny step forward to attain higher, when ignorance prevails it us far off.

Dehabhiman is the mirroring of youself around the things you see. When it calms, sense of purpose is understood then happiness is there. Otherwise sorrow envelopes but realizing aham frees you from all that bringing neutrality in surrounding

Karma yoga done without self realization is not the marga, hence realize the equanimity of atma and gyana then the bridge appears between pravriti and ni riti marga. Give up the desires and submit entirely to God.

Killing the self means living in darkness of asura lota without realizing self. Each and every living organism made by brahma is gripped in darkness of ignorance and desires and lust.To achieve chitta suddhi delving into self for the surrender onto God’s feet.

Isavasyam idam sarvam encapsulates the idea that God not only created the universe, but is also present in all of it.

Mahavakyas, such as isavasyam idam sarvam, are often contemplated as part of a self practice, especially in Jnana Yoga. They may be used in combination with prayer, meditation and the chanting of mantras to help to achieve deeper understanding and insights into fundamental philosophical concepts.

It is not a mental upasana because it is realizing yourself and everything as God himself and submission thereby that purifies your mind of all unnecessary attributes
