Webinar Eligibility

Any individual who has an ardent desire and interest to learn Sanskrit is welcome to join this unique method of learning Sanskrit. All those aged 15 years and older can benefit from the Easy Sanskrit Course.

Webinar Details

• The duration of the Easy Sanskrit Webinar is 12 months.
• The Webinar will be taught in 3 phases as detailed below.

• The course will be taught in 3 phases in the order given above starting with Phase 1.
• One can register for one or more phases or for the entire course.
• It is not necessary to complete the preceding phase in order to register for the next phase.
• Certificate of Completion will be awarded only for those who complete the Full Course, or have registered and completed the assessments for all the 3 phases of the Course individually
• Registrations are now open for the entire course and Phase 1.
• The webinar comprises 13 Modules and a total of 13 Questionnaires plus 1 Final test.
• All registered participants should attend the weekly webinar. Students are advised not to miss any class, and if they do miss for any inevitable reasons, they are required to catch up with recordings before attending the next class.
• If one is unable to attend the live sessions, one can watch the recorded sessions that will be made available on the dashboard.
• Once Swamiji’’s lectures for the 1st Lesson are completed, the assessment for the lesson will be unlocked and the students will be required to attempt the same.
• As the online classes continue the corresponding lesson’s assessment will be unlocked.
• Those who successfully complete the Course will be given a ‘Course Completion Certificate’ of merit signed by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission worldwide. The digital copy of the same will be sent to your registered email ID.
• Grading system for certification.
  • 80% and above: ‘O’ Grade
  • 60% and above: ‘A+’ Grade
  • 50% and above: ‘A’ Grade
  • Below 50%: ‘B’ Grade

About the Facilitator

Swami Ramakrishnananda is the resident Swamin at Chinmaya Mission, Nagapattinam. He is an excellent orator and a teacher of Sanskrit, and has a very unique and jovial way of teaching.

He hails from Chennai and holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He was inspired by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji’s ideals and talks and joined the Tamil Vedanta Course at Tamaraipakkam, near Chennai, under the guidance of Swami Sridharanandaji in 1993. He was given Brahmacharya Diksha and Sannyasa Diksha in 1995 and 2010 respectively by Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda.

He was first posted in Chinmaya Mission, Trichy. His further successive posting locations were Sri Lanka, Coimbatore and the Reunion Island. Swamiji is presently serving at Nagapattinam. He visits the United States of America frequently to teach Sanskrit. His masterpieces are the Easy Sanskrit Course Level One and Level Two, which have come as an aid for the bloomers in learning Sanskrit.

He conducts public yagnas (spiritual talks) on the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Ramayana, Srimad Bhagavata and Mahabharata. He conducts spiritual classes for teachers and value education classes for the students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nagapattinam, and also in other schools.

He has co-ordinated the colour water mosaic Guinness World Record programme to commemorate the centenary celebration of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji in the year 2016. Presently, Swamiji is pursuing PhD in Philosophy from the Amrita University, Kollam, Kerala.
