Launch Pad Webinar on Sanskrit Learning

Chinmaya International Foundation welcomes you to a 4-day launch pad webinar on Sanskrit Learning.

Why this Webinar?

Sanskrit is regarded as the sacred language of Bharata and a link language to connect with the South East Asian countries. For thousands of years, this language has ruled the religious, philosophical, social and scientific culture of Bharatiya/Indian Knowledge Systems (BKS/IKS). This sonorous language, no wonder, was the favourite of poets and authors for millennia.

Sanskrit learning can happen in multiple ways – the most common being the spoken version and the written version. Various institutes and organisations aim at educating beginners in either conversational Sanskrit or talking about the literature (sahitya) in Sanskrit. There are other ways too such as appreciating performing arts, paintings, musical concerts, and sculptures with the aid of foundational Sanskrit.

  1. Create an awareness in every Indian about the antiquity and authority of Sanskrit in every sphere of learning
  2. Refute the narrative that Sanskrit is a ‘dead’ language
  3. Initiate the participant into the fun in learning Sanskrit
