Brahmasutra 1: Athato Brahmajijnasa

The Brahmasutra of Sri Veda Vyasa and its commentary by Sri Adi Sankaracharya give the essence of all Upanishads. The text and commentary give great clarity, depth, illumination, and finally Liberation. The first sutra states: “athato brahmajijnasa – Thereafter, therefore, the desire to know Brahman.” Bhagavan Adi Sankaracarya demonstrates the anubandha catushtaya and how the desire to know Brahman arises.These are recordings from an intensive one-week study of Brahmasutra 1 with Swami Advayananda during Advaita Vedanta Immersive 2018 at Adi Sankara Nilayam.
