Bhagavad Gita, the timeless message of reality given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in the battlefield is the very essence of all the scriptures – the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Mahabharata and so on. This course will cover all the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita. All the verses will be detailed through discourses, doubt clarification, and meditation sessions. This course will help everyone study Bhagavad Gita in depth. There will be discourses to make us understand the intricacies of the subject, group discussion to reflect on the important topics, doubt clarification sessions to get clarity and meditation sessions to allow the knowledge to get assimilated. After each chapter, there will also be an online self-assessment questionnaire to check one's comprehension of the essential teachings of the chapter. This is mandatory to proceed to the next chapter. Kindly note that only after submitting the self-assessment questionnaire, videos of the next chapter will become available to the students for their lifetime use.

This course is meant for ‘busy people’. It is well-spaced to give everyone sufficient time to learn and digest the supreme knowledge. You just have to take out 11 to 12 hours in every month according to your schedule to listen and study. That way you can complete the course within 20 months (18 months for 18 chapters and additional 1 month each for the 2nd and 18th chapters).

Course Facilitators

Swami Advayananda

An accomplished teacher of Vedanta, Swami Advayananda has authored several books and courses at CIF. Swamiji was part of the team that researched and coordinated the Upanishad Ganga tele-serial, which was broadcasted by Doordarshan. He served as Acharya for two Vedanta Courses – the first in Tamil-English at Sandeepany Vidyamandir, Coimbatore and the second in English at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai. In the last decade, CIF has significantly expanded the publications and research work under Swamiji's guidance.

Br. Ved Chaitanya

Br. Ved Chaitanya comes from a family steeped in service of the Chinmaya Mission. An electronics and telecommunication engineer from Pune, he withdrew from work in TCS to follow his heart. He received Brahmacharya Deeksha in 2013. Cheerful, kind-hearted, and a scholarly student of Sanskrit and Vedanta, his particular interest is in the application of Vedanta in daily life. He has assisted Swamiji in this course.

Course Curriculum

The sessions include Discourses, Doubt clarifications, Chanting and Guided Meditation sessions.

All these sessions are made available on the site for the participants to read, study and contemplate on at all times. Online sessions allow convenience and flexibility for those who are abroad as well as the working fraternity in India.

• 80% and above 'O' Grade
• 60% and above 'A+' Grade
• 50% and above 'A' Grade
• Below 50% 'B' Grade

Envisioned to be a platform to impart knowledge, CIF has always made it a point to make the courses accessible to all the sincere seekers.
