Vedic Mathematics Course aims to promote the traditional knowledge of Mathematics mastered by the mathematicians of ancient India. The shorter, quicker and easy to remember techniques adopted enable any student to do calculations faster than they would with conventional methods. Course Author
Being an enthusiastic educator, trainer and motivational speaker, Vinay Nair has been imparting the knowledge of Vedic Mathematics, since 2009. He founded the 'School of Vedic Maths', with an aim to not only teach techniques but also to facilitate productive thinking. In collaboration with CIF he conducts courses, workshops and seminars in schools, colleges and camps on Foundation & Advanced Courses of Vedic Mathematics for an audience anywhere between 10 to 75 years of age. The strong belief that learning Vedic Mathematics improves Observation, Concentration and Creativity apart from the Numerical Ability is what leads this young educator to travel around imparting this ancient system. His approach to teaching is modern and accessible whereby he facilitates students to learn by discovering new methods of their own.
Course Eligibility
The course is open to all those who are 12 years or older and interested in studying the beautiful subject of Vedic Mathematics, irrespective of their profession or age. It is neither limited to the young nor to the elder. It is for anyone seeking to improve their mathematical skills, the ancient Indian way.
Course Details
- The suggested duration of the Vedic Mathematics Course – Online Mode is 9 months. However, a student has the flexibility to complete the course in less than 9 months if he/she does it at a faster pace.
- The course comprises 24 lessons and a total of 3 questionnaires.
- Registered students will be provided log-in credentials and link to online platform.
- You can register from the website. Once payment is received your registration for the course will be activated.
- Log-in to the website and then access the course through ‘My Courses’ section.
- Download your first lesson, study the lesson, watch the video recording and then attempt the Practice Problems given at the end of each lesson.
- You have to submit your answers online within 30 days of downloading your PDF course material.
- Your answers to the questionnaire will be checked by the tutor and the scores will be available online. However, the Practice Problems will not be checked.
- Those who successfully complete the course will be given a ‘Course Completion Certificate’ of merit signed by Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission worldwide. The digital copy of the same will be sent to your registered email ID.
- Grading system for certification.
- 80% and above 'O' Grade
- 60% and above 'A+' Grade
- 50% and above 'A' Grade
- Below 50% 'B' Grade
Access to Lessons
In Online Mode the lessons are downloaded from website and answers are also given online. Evaluation, scores are also Online. Scores can be viewed online.

Envisioned to be a platform to impart knowledge, CIF has always made it a point to make the courses accessible to all the sincere seekers. Students, who are keen to pursue a particular course, but have difficulty affording the course fee, can send an email to the Director: homestudycourses@chinfo.org stating the same. They will be given financial assistance to enrol for the course based on the genuineness of request, keenness to study and eligibility.
