Swami Sharadananda is the Resident Acharya of Chinmaya International Foundation. He embarked on his spiritual journey at a very young age and received rigorous training in the major philosophical traditions of India, including Advaita Vedanta, Yoga, and Tantra. He secured First Rank along with an All-India Gold Medal in Advaita Vedanta from the prestigious Central Sanskrit University.
After several years of intense sādhana and svādhyāya in the Himalayas, Swamiji joined the 12th Vedanta Course at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai, in 2002, under the tutelage of Swami Ishwaranandaji. He later served as Upacharya for the 13th and 15th Vedanta Courses at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, contributing significantly to the training of future acharyas.
Swamiji served as the Acharya for the inaugural Purohit Course conducted at Chinmaya Gardens. He also conducted a Vedanta course in Malayalam and taught two Vedanta Sadhaka Courses at Chinmaya International Foundation. In addition, he was a member of the Upanishad Ganga teleserial content and production team.
An erudite scholar and devoted upāsaka of the Śrīvidyā tradition, Swamiji offers profound insights into Vedanta, Tantra, Upasana, and other spiritual and philosophical systems of India. Through webinars, home-study programs, and campus courses at Chinmaya International Foundation, he continues to guide seekers with clarity, depth, and traditional authenticity.
