More About the Webinar
The seventh chapter of the Chandogya Upanishad opens as a conversation between Sanat Kumara and Narada. Narada lists all the apara-vidya in which he has become proficient and then confesses that none of these have led him to Self-knowledge, and he wants to know about Self and Self-knowledge.
In anuvakas 2 through 26 of the seventh chapter, the Upanishad presents, in the words of Sanat Kumara, a hierarchy of progressive meditation, from outer-worldly knowledge to inner-worldly knowledge, from finite current knowledge to infinite Atman knowledge, as a stepwise journey to Self and infinite bliss.
