The Ishavasya Upanishad is one of the ten principal Upanishads (Dashopanishads), revered for its concise yet profound vision of Vedanta. The term Ishavasyam literally means “enveloped by the Lord” and points to the all-pervasive nature of Brahman. Comprising just eighteen mantras, this Upanishad outlines the highest goal of life, the path to inner transformation, and the means to ultimate Liberation.

 

These discourses in Tamil by Swami Advayananda, In-charge of Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), were recorded during a spiritual camp organised by Chinmaya Mission Puducherry in 2019.
