Shri Padmapada caritam

Padmapada, the famous disciple of Shri Shankara, is in fact his first disciple. He is the author of the Pañcapadika that lays the foundation of the Vivarna school of Advaita-vedanta. This book chronicles the various events of his glorious life of dedication to knowledge, meeting his great Guru, various incidents connected with his life and his teachings.
