Tattvabodha is a book of definitions. This basic text of Vedanta is presented in the form of a dialogue between the teacher and the student.

In this text, Shri Adi Shankaracarya succinctly defines the terms and terminologies of Vedanta that a student would come across in his study: sadhana-catushtaya, Atman, panca-kosha, shariratraya and so on.
