KRITHIGA KRISHNASAMY
ParticipantDescribe the application of ‘neti neti’ and how ‘Purna’ is indicated.
- To assert that I am Purna, I have to negate my wrong notion.
- Then what are those which I need to negate?
- Negate the Subject, I (the individuality).
- Negate the Object, world (the Cosmos).
- Why so, because I see myself small and the Brahmanda big.
- Dwityam bhayam bhavati and also desries and other shat ripu are the effects.
- So, the identification with my upadis and dropping the nama-rupa bedha, I must see the essence which is asti, Bati, priyam.
- I see everything as they are and not what is perceived through senses.
- The steps are:
- I need to de-fcous from the world of objects, and from the Body-Mind-Intellect identification.
- Then I must take up the ‘Aham Brahma asmi’ vritti.
- Finally going inward with that still more deeper (samsdhisthitanam yadabhati poornam), then the poornam shines.
- Purnatvam shines beyond the 3 states
- Me being the waker and waking world.
- Me being the dreamer and the dream world.
- Me being the deep sleeper.
- That Purnatvam is advaitam and ekam – I am that which is the one Reality and the only Real Conciousness-Existence-Bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda svarupam).

Sheila Bhargava
ParticipantWhen a seeker practises Bhahiranga Sadhana & Antaranga Sadhana with Shravana, Manana & Niddhidhyasana, perfected, one matures in mind and efforts are to remove the ignorance. In Ignorance one has an identity and is a Karta/ Doer- cause of duality, Bhogta/ Enjoyer – experiences of Sukh – dukh, to reach the true Nyata/ the Knower one takes the path of Logic – but Logic can only indicate the possibilities. The Sadhak has to have faith in the scriptures to realise higher truths. In the path one’s Viveka – one rejects – neti neti (not this, not this) one by one to reach the ultimate truth.
The first Neti is at the Vyashti level – the individual subject . One is not this Body, not this mind and not this individual. This leads to the seeker to understand that he/she is such minute particle in this cosmos. With detached mind drops the Nam & Roop and look at the World’s expansion – the cosmos as one. Only Asti, Bhati & Priya. The whole world is only IS Existence.
The second Neti is realising the Truth just as one knowing the sea waves, the bubbles and the water is all only H2O not Wave separate, not bubble separate, and not water separate. So, also the whole cosmos of millions of Galaxies is not separate but one and is Sat/ Existence, Chit/ Consciousness – Ananda/ Bliss.
With this realisation the whole world is one and I’am that – Aham Brahmasmi is experienced – Mind stops. Goes deeper into the shining Complete Truth – ITI – beyond the waking, Dream and Deep sleep states. One and only True Reality Para Brahma Asmi – The Purna- Pure Bliss – Existence.
This Purna is the ultimate Ananda bliss. The material happiness each one of us experience is just a wee bit of the total happiness of all, material, living, non living, creatures and whole totality of all universe and millions of Galaxy put together. The ultimate Purna of Para Brahma cannot be explained or estimated. Only the self Realised jynani can experience the effulgence, bliss of the Supreme Existence, Consciousness, Bliss . All shine in this bliss.
Free of form, free of space, free of time , free of all kinds of limitations, even free of death. Such is the Purna, Existence, Consciousness , Bliss. The Supreme OMNISCIENT, Omnipotent and Omnipresent Elam Brahma – Purna.
