Annapurna Stotram

Annapurna Stotram is a divine hymn composed by Sri Adi Sankaracharya in praise of Mother Annapurneshwari, the bestower of food, nourishment and prosperity. She is a manifestation of Goddess Parvati – the consort of Lord Shiva.

The stotram is a series of verses that praise the divine Mother for her abundance and ability to sustain/nourish all living beings. It is believed that reciting this stotram with devotion and sincerity can bring blessings and prosperity beyond mere gross material desires. She blesses us with the attainment of perfection in wisdom and renunciation and teaches us the art of giving wholeheartedly.

This album contains discourses in Malayalam by Swami Sharadananda Sarasvati, recorded during the 2-year Vedanta Course held at Adi Sankara Nilayam in 2018-20.
