This course aims at introducing the story that showcases an interaction of Karna with Indra and how it leads to his disastrous fate. The plot of this play is based on one of the main subplots in the Kurukshetra war, central to the Mahabharata.
A total of four video lectures by Prof.Gauri Mahulikar are made available to the registered students. The lectures focus on the various literary aspects of the play bringing out its holistic reading.

Requirements

While the dramas are presented in the exquisite ancient language of Sanskrit, lectures will be conducted in English to facilitate better understanding and appreciation of the texts. Therefore, knowledge of English is necessary for participants.
