KeymasterCould you please rephrase? The point isn’t clear to me.
Is the main point that the jiva’s ignorance is blameless? Yes, it is not jiva’s fault (the ignorance is beginning-less). However, (as you pointed out) it doesn’t mean the jiva will not suffer because of the ignorance (what has been done in the past and being done now, will produce results; some of them will result in suffering).
From Ishvara’s point of view, everything is happening as per individuals’ past actions, and totality past actions (there is no partiality here). Ishvara is karma-phala-data, governs the law of karma.
Disclaimer: All the above based on my understanding, of course.

Participantok thanks mate ill clarify a bit (feedback is really appreciated btw)
It seems to my jiva that from the perspective of “pots” things can be right and wrong , good and bad (this is the everyday world of the jiva, the samsari)
this means jivas don’t look below the surface of things (perceptions , thoughts and feelings) this allows for the developments of narratives (drama , action, comedy etc) and is the maya.
is this right?
But
Just below the surface (in fact zero distance away from the pot is the clay!) is the realm of the clay (Ishvara) and in that place that perspective of pot is gone.
It seems to my jiva that the “thickness of maya” is zero because the distance between pot and clay (pot and its substratum in Ishvara) is zero.
meaning an object is made of things, a thought is made of things, a feeling is made of things and if it was known it would destroy the original thing and the maya that rests on it.
is that right?
In that place every “thing” (any thought, feeling or perception) ignorance included is exactly where its meant to be until its not mean to be there (say when a jiva discovers the vedas).
This would make a Jiva’s ignorance completely blameless (though it would not protect it from the results of bad actions)
This would make both ignorance and knowlege technically perfect.
does that sound right? (thanks for your answer here.)
