ParticipantHari Om!
Please guide me through these questions and why the specified answers were wrong.
For the question 4:
4.
Who is called a thief by the Lord in this chapter?
Choose the most appropriate answer. Mark only one.
1. One who steals money from others
2. One who does not perform one’s duty
3. One who does not repay the bounty gained from the deities
4. One who steals valuables
5. None of the aboveI opted the answer 2 i.e “One who does not perform one’s duty” since it’s the duty of an individual(jiva) unlike Jivanmuktha, to perform(which included give and take/ repaying) ALL 5 yajnas[ Deva(dieties), Pitr, Manushya, Brahma, Bhuta(other creatures)] but not just the deva(dieties) yajna. the answer was given as 3 “One who does not repay the bounty gained from the deities”. Could you please clarify this?
15.
How does the Lord describe an individual who breaks the causal chain by not performing one’s duty?
1.One who revels in the sense-pleasures alone
2.An embodiment of sin
3.A hypocrite
4.A noble person
5.One who lives in vainFor this question, a.)Isn’t the term a hypocrite(a Mithacara) called an embodiment of Sin?
Thank you!
