ParticipantHari Om. Brahman is beyond the gunas. However, Isvara or the God-Principle is Brahman + Maya with mostly Sattva and traces of rajas and tamas. The creation, sustenance and destruction power of Isvara comes from this.
Please see the diagram on page 6 of lesson 13.
